Snowmass Mall, Snowmass Village

Many small towns grow along a main street. Over 50 years ago, the charming hamlet of Snowmass Village started growing along its Main Street – The Mall. In 2018, it was The Romero Group’s honor to take ownership of this valley landmark. 

Snowmass Village’s iconic Tower has stood guard over The Mall, powder days, summer nights, and all-around good times since 1967. As The Mall has certainly changed, and some may say weathered, it’s now time for a changing of the guard. Under our leadership and vision we seek to return The Mall, its history and businesses to their former glory. And we’re just getting started. The undisputed heart and soul of Snowmass Village and the valley’s beacon of authenticity is ready for a revival.

The Romero Group doesn’t take itself too seriously, but we do seriously care for the neighborhoods and communities we serve. Ownership of The Mall has allowed us to have a little fun and show some  personality. Upon acquisition of The Mall, we quickly realized that it was in need of some revitalization and deserved more of the spotlight in Snowmass Village. For the first time in 50 years, a branding effort was undertaken along with subsequent advertising and marketing efforts to bolster its visibility to provide a boost to local businesses. Additionally, badly needed improvements to the common areas were swiftly undertaken and are continually assessed. 

Most importantly, we seek to be partners with our tenants, business owners and residents and not resemble in any form or fashion the typical landlord relationships that have become a serious threat to the fiber of this valley. With the recent ground swell of changes to our valley, its demographics and enormous spike in popularity, this type of business ethos has never been so badly needed SO WE WILL CARRY THE TORCH. 

With an unwavering commitment to the community, an invested interest in the betterment of the valley, staunch reliability and dedication to GETTING THINGS DONE, we are in this for the long haul. We will continue to unabashedly promote The Mall to ensure Snowmass Village holds onto a vital part of its history and past irreverence. John Denver, John Wayne and Stein Erikson, former Mall regulars, hopefully will be looking down knowing we mean to do right by them!
