Maintenance Tech 1

This is an entry level position on our property services team and is full-time work on a permanent basis. Candidates should have some basic knowledge of one or more of the following and be able to describe personal experience and/or skills that relate:  landscape maintenance requirements for the summer season in Colorado, exterior painting/staining of wood, snow removal, customer service. A successful candidate will present with a professional appearance and employ good interpersonal skills when communicating with others. Permanent full-time employees are eligible for benefits which become available after the first full month of employment.  We have positions open at the Aspen and Snowmass Mall locations. Maintenance Tech 2

Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – HVAC Specialist

This is a full-time, year-round, mid-level management position. Position is located in the Mid-Valley area of the Roaring Fork Valley with an office location in Basalt. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – HVAC Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing minor repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings managed by The Romero Group.  Additional responsibilities may include RFP preparation, bid solicitations, proposal reviews, and implementation of capital projects for clients.  Individual will perform other related maintenance duties as assigned. Position requires extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment as well as experience in construction, electric, landscaping, maintenance, plumbing, repairs, and snow removal. Individual should have an analytical approach to problem-solving and a comfort level with computer systems, building automation systems, and HVAC technologies. Minimum requirement of one to two years’ experience in skilled maintenance, repair, and property management service including direct interaction and communications with clients and vendors. Candidate must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain within 30 days of start date. Position requires willingness to work weekends and to participate in paid On Call Rotation. Vocational training, HVAC on-the-job training, and/or technical certifications will be considered a plus for individuals interested in this position. Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

Mechanic II

This is a part-time, year-round, mid-level management position based at Aspen Highlands as the principal work location.  The primary responsibility of the Mechanic II is to perform preventative maintenance and repairs associated with The Romero Group equipment as well as client-owned equipment.  The Mechanic II will spend their work hours contributing to the inspection, diagnosis, repair, sustainment, and improvement of fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, lawn equipment and other small-engine machinery, as well as small power tools.  The Mechanic II will report to and be directed by the Fleet Manager or Operations Manager.  This position has no supervisory responsibilities.  Successful candidate must approach work with initiative; show ability to take direction and prioritize tasks; demonstrate solid communication skills (in-person and written); work independently and excel as a team member.  Completion of high school diploma or GED required.  Candidate must have minimum of five years’ prior work experience including at least two years’ service history as a professional mechanic.  Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate a desire to learn other applicable software programs and diagnostic tools.  Trade school or other mechanical certifications are a plus.  Candidate must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain within 30 days of start date.  Company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel during business hours.  Hourly rate range: $35.00 to $45.00 plus signing bonus.

General Accountant

This is a full-time, year-round, entry-level position based at our Mid-Valley Office in Basalt.  The General Accountant is responsible for fulfilling administrative and accounting functions to assist and support the accounting and property management teams.  The General Accountant may work independently or as part of a team as determined by project.  Responsibilities include supporting the accounting team with preparation of checks, balance sheets, income statements, invoices, status requests, and finance charges.  In addition, the General Accountant will work on reconciliation of bank and other accounts, receipt/verification of deposits, and addressing bank inquiries.  Minimum of one to two years’ experience in accounting required.  Candidate should have expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, AppFolio, Palte IQ, or other accounting software programs.  Position eligible for full benefits package.  Potential employee housing opportunity available.  Hourly rate range:  $22.00 to $30.00 plus signing bonus.

Assistant Property Manager

Guest Services

This is an entry level position based in Aspen (Part-time, Weekends, and Holidays, Seasonal).  The Guest Services representative for The Romero Group performs a variety of tasks on behalf of our clients. Every TRG employee will spend their work hours contributing to the improvements of appearances and operations of the company’s client properties.  The guest services representative will primarily work independently or, on occasion, as part of a team depending on what is required based on circumstances; the guest services representative may work with TRG maintenance technicians, with TRG managers, with TRG housekeeping staff, or other TRG employees, as well as guests and/or property owners. Housekeeper
