Maintenance Tech 1

This is an entry level position on our property services maintenance team.  Current openings for part-time and full-time positions, seasonal or year-round.  Candidates should have some basic knowledge of one or more of the following and be able to describe personal experience and/or skills that relate:  landscape maintenance requirements for the summer season in Colorado, exterior painting/staining of wood, snow removal, general maintenance, and customer service. A successful candidate will present with a professional appearance and employ good interpersonal skills when communicating with others. Permanent full-time employees are eligible for benefits which become available after the first full month of employment.  We have positions open in Aspen, Mid Valley, and Snowmass locations. Potential employee housing opportunity available for full-time positions. Hourly rate range:  $20.00 to $22.00.

Maintenance Tech 2

This is an advanced level position on our property services maintenance team and is full-time work on a permanent basis.  Candidates will have basic knowledge of maintenance work with advanced experience in a specialty area such as electrical, mechanical, plumbing, irrigation, or construction.  A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with direction.  A desire to advance to a management level is a plus.  Current opening for positions in Aspen and Snowmass. Hourly rate range:  $21.00 to $24.00.

Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Building Automation Systems/HVAC Specialist

This is a full-time, year-round, mid-level management position. Position is located in the Mid-Valley area of the Roaring Fork Valley with an office location in Basalt. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor – Building Automation Systems/HVAC Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and performing minor repairs to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and commercial buildings managed by The Romero Group.  Additional responsibilities may include RFP preparation, bid solicitations, proposal reviews, and implementation of capital projects for clients.  Individual will perform other related maintenance duties as assigned. Position requires extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment as well as experience in construction, electric, landscaping, maintenance, plumbing, repairs, and snow removal. Individual should have an analytical approach to problem-solving and a comfort level with computer systems, building automation systems, and HVAC technologies. Minimum requirement of one to two years’ experience in skilled maintenance, repair, and property management service including direct interaction and communications with clients and vendors. Candidate must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain within 30 days of start date. Position requires willingness to work weekends and to participate in paid On Call Rotation. Vocational training, HVAC on-the-job training, and/or technical certifications will be considered a plus for individuals interested in this position. Assistant Maintenance Supervisor

This is a full-time, year-round, mid-level management position on our property services maintenance team. The Assistant Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for motivating, planning, managing, and directing activities of maintenance team staff under the direction of a Maintenance Supervisor or Project Manager. Candidates should have thorough knowledge of and “hands on” experience with construction, electric, HVAC, landscaping, maintenance, plumbing, repairs, and snow removal. Individual should be able to describe personal experience demonstrating leadership, management, strong communication, and supervisory skills. Minimum of one to two years’ experience in skilled maintenance, repair, and property management including direct supervision of staff. Candidate must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License or be able to obtain within 30 days of start date. Position requires willingness to work weekends and to participate in On Call Rotation. Vocational training, bachelor’s or advanced degree, and/or technical certifications will be considered a plus for individuals interested in this position.  Current position available in Aspen.  Eligible for full benefits package.  Use of company vehicle included.  Potential employee housing opportunity available.  Salary range: $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience.

Assistant Property Manager

This is a full-time, year-round, mid-level management position based at our office located on property in Aspen.  In this role, the Assistant Property Manager will provide support to the association manager and on-site maintenance team for day-to-day operations and complete tasks associated with capital projects as needed.  This position will be responsible for the administrative support of all aspects associated with management of several HOAs.  Additionally, the assistant property manager interacts as a representative of the company with vendors, residents, owners, and board of directors for the associations under management.  Candidate should have excellent attention to detail, be able to dive in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to further their career in property management.  A bachelor’s degree with one to two years’ work experience or equivalent professional HOA management experience required.  This is not a remote position.  Days and hours of work are five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and can be flexible.  Potential employee housing opportunity may be available.  Salary range:  $55,000 to $75,000, negotiable depending on experience, plus full benefits package.

Administrative Assistant

This is a full-time or part-time, year-round, entry level position onsite at our executive office at Aspen Highlands.  The Administrative Assistant provides support to The Romero Group staff consisting of property managers and assistant property managers for the day-to-day administrative operation of the office and completes tasks associated with property-specific projects as needed.  The major focus of this individual is to staff the office and provide administrative support to the property management team as well as external clients and vendors.  The administrative assistant will work as part of a team.  A successful candidate will be reliable, detail oriented, able to demonstrate strong communication skills both written and verbal, along with have the desire to independently manage a variety of responsibilities with guidance.  One to two years’ administrative work experience in a professional office environment is helpful.  Days and hours of work are five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, hours may be flexible.  Permanent full-time employees are eligible for benefits which become available after the first full month of employment.  Potential employee housing opportunity available. Office Manager/Human Resources Associate

This is a full-time, year-round, entry-level position based at our executive office located in Basalt.  In this role, the Office Manager/Human Resources Associate will provide support to the company staff for the day-to-day administrative operation of the executive office and complete tasks associated with company-wide projects as needed.  This position will be responsible for staffing the front desk and performing administrative duties pertaining to internal communications and activities of the team members at all company locations.  As well, the office manager interacts as a representative of the company with vendors, residents, owners, and board of directors for associations, commercial clients, and special districts that are managed by the company.  An additional responsibility for this position will be to provide administrative support to the human resources manager.  Candidate should have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to help others.  A bachelor’s degree with one to two years’ work experience a plus.  This is not a remote position.  Days and hours of work are five (5) days per week, Monday through Friday, hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
